Adrian E. Young, Esquire, is a member of the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and American Bar Associations. Adrian’s practice focuses on the creation of business and personal planning strategies designed to minimize tax exposure and maximize client wealth.

After graduating with honors from Dickinson College, Adrian went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University and his Master of Business Administration from the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University. Adrian is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and New York.

Adrian enjoys eating, attempting to keep fit, and just about any kind of competition. Above all those, however, Adrian relishes spending time with his wife and three children (and, as hard as it is for those who know him to believe, these moments are often spent doing nothing “productive”). Practicing in a field that demands continual reading and education, Adrian looks forward to studying scripture and the work of James Montgomery Boice. Adrian is also a firm proponent of maximizing one’s impact in our communities, so he volunteers his time for numerous non-profit boards and committees.

An associate with Aevitas Law, Neil R. Vestermark, Esquire, joined the firm in April of 2019. Neil’s practice specializes in business, real estate, estate planning, estate administration, guardianships and family law, helping clients through all aspects of life.

A Lancaster County native and graduate of Cocalico High School, Neil received his bachelor’s degree in Law in Society from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan. Neil is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Supreme Court. Neil is also a member of the Lancaster, Berks and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

Neil enjoys spending time with his wife and family, enjoying the outdoors, taking his German Shepherd on walks, playing softball in a Community Church League, and cheering for his Philadelphia sports teams.

Santo G. Spataro, Esquire, an associate with Aevitas Law, joined the firm in April 2021 after transitioning from the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate, an agency within the State’s Attorney General’s Office. Santo’s growing practice includes estate planning, estate administration, and business planning strategies.

Santo grew up being involved with multiple family-owned businesses in the York, Pennsylvania area. After graduating from high school, Santo enrolled at Penn State where he majored in accounting and minored in business law. He then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where he acquired his Juris Doctor, and he is now admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the York County Bar Association as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Santo enjoys spending time with his wife and family, appreciating Sunday family dinners, and golfing with family and friends. Having spent time as a member of the Penn State boxing team, he enjoys watching boxing and cheering on his Pennsylvania alma mater on Saturday mornings. Santo and his wife are active members of their church family and regularly take time to study scripture and respond to God’s calling in their life.

Rachel M. Burress, Paralegal

As a paralegal at Aevitas Law, Rachel specializes in business and estate planning. Rachel’s caring, creative, and solution-minded approach benefits both clients and the team at large.

Rachel recently earned her B.S. in the Study of Communication from Millersville University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading classic literature, spending time with family, and taking walks with her black lab around her neighborhood.

Michelle Goodwin, Paralegal

Michelle has years of experience helping clients in a multitude of legal practice areas throughout her career, and currently specializes in estate administration. She is known for always smiling and having a positive outlook, and places a high value on walking with clients through every stage of life.

Michelle has an A.S. in Paralegal Studies and an A.S. in business management. She has two grown daughters and a very large dog. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking/baking, and outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.

Kira N. Kauffman, Paralegal

As part of the Aevitas team since 2016, Kira provides clients with the care and answers they need as she helps them navigate legal process, whether preparing their estate matters, navigating the death of a loved one, or launching a new business venture.

A graduate of Messiah University, Kira taught in eastern Kentucky through Teach for America before joining the Aevitas team. Kira is involved with her church family, and she also volunteers with several non-profits. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughters, and being active and outdoors.

Susan M. Schramm, Front Desk Associate

As front desk associate at Aevitas Law, Sue creates a welcoming environment for everyone at the firm.

Sue has always been one to move around geographically. Born in Delaware County, moving to Chester County in her early childhood, then relocating to Southern Lancaster County, she eventually made her way to St. Petersburg, Russia where she lived and served in a wide variety of capacities for 22 years. Upon returning to Lancaster County, Sue has found a new adventure through her contributions to Aevitas.

A few of Sue’s favorite activities include spending time with family and friends, playing with her family’s dogs, attending and serving in her home church, walks in the park, swimming, and relaxing.
